ABSTRACT:
Phenylene group-containing organosilanes represented by the formula: ##STR1## where in each case all three possible isomers in relation to the position of the R.sub.3 Si-R.sup.1 substituents can be present concurrently, R.sup.1 represents --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 -- or CH.sub.3 CH>, and R.sup.2 represents chloride or an alkoxy group. Processes for the production of the organosilanes and the use of these substances for the production of the corresponding organopolysiloxanes are also disclosed.
