ABSTRACT:
A phase shifter having two multiwinding transformers. The primary windings of the like phases of different transformers are connected in series and arranged in a three-phase system. The secondary windings of unlike phases of different transformers are interconnected and form two three-phase output voltage sets. Each transformer has control windings connected to respective switching devices. Actuation of a respective switching device provides for changing the phase angle between the three-phase output voltage sets from 0.degree. to 120.degree. or 180.degree..
