ABSTRACT:
Phase change inks comprising a phase change ink carrier and a colorant compound of the formulawherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, m, n, and p are as defined herein, R6is a direct bond, an alkylene group, an arylene group, an arylalkylene group, or an alkylarylene group, R66is an alkylene group, an arylene group, an arylalkylene group, or an alkylarylene group, G is a hydroxy group, a carboxylic acid group, an alkyl group having at least about 8 carbon atoms, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group having at least about 14 carbon atoms, an alkylaryl group having at least about 14 carbon atoms, a group of the formulaa group of the formulaa group of the formulaor a group of the formulaX is —O— or —NR9—, and R7, R8, and R9are as defined herein.
