By applying a compound selected from jasmonic acid represented by the following general formula (I) or 2-substituted form of jasmonic acid or derivatives thereof or salts thereof, the pharmacological action of a pesticide such as a microbicide or a herbicide applied to the plant is enhanced.(wherein R1is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group, and R2is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group or a hydroxyalkyl group).
