ABSTRACT:
Perfluoropolyethers having structural formulain-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?R1O—(CF2O)n—(CF2CF2O)mR2 (I)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein:R1is —CH3or —C2H5; R2is equal to R1or —CF2Hn is 0 or an integer from 1 to 100; m is an integer from 1 to 100 or, when R2is —CF2H, m can also be 0; the oxyfluoro-alkylene units —(CF2CF2O)— and —(CF2O)— are statistically distributed along the polymer chain.
