ABSTRACT:
A pet toilet10having a toilet box13, a drainboard14partitioning the toilet box into an upper compartment and a lower compartment, an excreta treating material15laid in the upper compartment, and an urine absorbent member11laid in the lower compartment. The drainboard is an integral structure formed of a plurality of longitudinally extending ribs17spaced parallel with each other and a plurality of transversely extending ribs18aand18bintersecting the longitudinally extending ribs17and spaced parallel with each other to have drain holes12. Each drain hole12has a longitudinal dimension S2at least twice its transverse dimension S1. The transversely extending ribs include ribs18awith a smaller height H1from the drainboard surface14adownward and ribs18bwith a larger height H2from the drainboard surface14adownward, the ribs18aand the ribs18balternating with each other.
