ABSTRACT:
Novel substituted N-tetrafluorophenyl-N-'-halobenzoylureas of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is fluorine or chlorine, and R.sub.2 is hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine; processes for producing these compounds, as well as compositions containing them, for combating pests, particularly insects which infest plants and animals. The novel compounds also exhibit an action inhibiting eating in the case of insects damaging plants by eating, and these compounds have favorable ovicidal and ovolarvicidal properties.
