The invention describes novel 1-aryl-5-(substituted alkylideneimino)pyrazoles of formula (I) ##STR1## processes to make the compounds, compositions of the compounds, and methods of use of the compounds for the control of arthropods (mites, aphids or insects), nematodes, helminths, or protozoa.
