ABSTRACT:
A perpendicularly intersecting gear device comprising a first bevel gear, a second bevel gear meshingly engaging perpendicular to the first bevel gear, a housing consisting of mutually mating first and second portions, and a drive shaft extending through and being secured to the first bevel gear. A pair of first bearing portions are provided in the first portion of the housing for supporting the drive shaft on opposite sides of the first gear. A second bearing portion is provided also in the first portion of the housing for supporting rotatably the second bevel gear which is disposed between the second bearing portion and the drive shaft.
