ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are peptides of the AT1receptor and their use for eliminating specifically binding, cell-physiologically active, pathological antibodies in preeclampsia and malign hypertension. The peptides may, for example, be used for the diagnosis of preeclampsia. Peptides having the sequence AFHYESQ (SEQ ID NO: 1), AVHYQSN (SEQ ID NO: 2), SHFYQTR (SEQ ID NO: 3), GYYFDTN (SEQ ID NO: 4) or ENTNIT (SEQ ID NO: 5) are preferred.
