ABSTRACT:
A peptide derivative having analgesic activity represented by the following Formula I: ##STR1## wherein Q represents D-Arg or L-Arg; and X represents for example NR.sup.6 --CHR.sup.7 R.sup.8. Typical compounds include H.sub.2 NC(NH)-Tyr-D-Arg-Phe-NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 COOH and H.sub.2 NC(NH)-Tyr-D-Arg-Phe-NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CONH.sub.2.
