ABSTRACT:
A pedal retraction amount control apparatus is provided in which a tread portion of a pedal can be reliably moved in a forward direction of a vehicle body, when the running vehicle collide in various forms. The pedal retraction amount control apparatus comprises a pushing member24which can protrude into a passenger compartment12from a forward side of the vehicle, and a control bracket45arranged between the pushing member24and a pedal17, which rocks by being pushed by the pushing member24moving to rearward of the vehicle so as to press an upper part of the pedal17above a pivot38in the rearward direction of the vehicle, and the tread portion of the pedal is moved to the forward of the vehicle.
