One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for communicating transaction request information from a PCI environment over a network. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a method for communicating request packet information from a network to a PCI environment. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a system for communicating transaction request information from a PCI environment over a network. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a system for communicating request packet information from a network to a PCI environment.
