ABSTRACT:
A circular knitting machine in which the pattern drum has cams shiftable between operative and inoperative positions about a pivotal axis, the movement between the positions being less than 90.degree. and there being locking means which is effective to secure the cams in one of the two positions. The selector members which are operated by the cams have associated with them means by which they may be disengaged from the cams.
