A motor vehicle heat exchanger for independently heating different passenger areas comprising first and second tube/fin block units for transferring heat from coolant flowing through tubes thereof to air flowing therethrough to first and second passenger areas, respectively. Intake tubes extend through a common gap between the first and second tube/fin units to supply heated coolant to the lower cooling tank.
