ABSTRACT:
A particle analyzing apparatus includes a particle detector for measuring each of many particles to obtain at least one kind of data for each particle, a conversion unit for converting the obtained data into distribution data, a data base memory for storing reference distribution data relative to the distribution data, and a calculating unit for calculating the degree of similarity .delta. of the distribution data with respect to the reference distribution data.
