ABSTRACT:
This is a device used in the occlusion of various lumen and other cavities in the body. In particular, it may be used to form an endovascular occlusion through the application of a radio-frequency modulated voltage to the device after its placement in the body. The elongated device is distally insulated to optimize its occlusive activity without harm to the body.
