ABSTRACT:
Partially fluorinated dicarboxylic acid and the acid chloride thereof, a process for its preparation and its use.
The compound of the formula (I) ##STR1## and the acid chloride thereof are prepared by air oxidation in the presence of a catalyst mixture composed of the ions of cobalt, manganese and bromine in an acid organic medium. The compounds can be used for the preparation of linear polycarboxamides and polycarboxylic acid esters.
