ABSTRACT:
A paper feed device includes first and second paper feeders operable to feed paper from respective first and second paper supplies, and a driver that is selectively operable in first and second directions. A transmission is connected between the driver and the first and second paper feeders. The transmission operates to transmit operation of the driver in the first direction to operate the first paper feeder, and is operable to transmit operation of the driver in the opposite second direction to operate the second paper feeder.
