A novel clamping device which is particularly adaptable for grasping flat members such as panels, and which accordingly is ideal as a component in a child's construction toy or which may be used in the erection of an actual wall or partition of a housing or building; the clamping device consisting of one or more sets of clips integrally formed together and with a sleeve slidable onto a peg or post.
