ABSTRACT:
A handle assembly for adjustably positioning a paint roller or other tool or implement adjacent a work surface. The handle assembly includes a first hollow handle section, with an exposed exterior hand grip surface adjacent its near end, a second hollow handle section slidably received inside the first handle section, and a third section carrying the roller or tool at its far end and having its inner end sliding inside the second handle section. The second handle has a first releasable lock assembly at its near end, and the third handle section has a second releasable lock assembly at its near end. The second handle has a hand grip with a skin portion overlying but spaced from the outer diameters of said first and second handle sections to provide an annular recess for receiving the far end of said first handle section when the handle sections are telescoped into nested relation.
