ABSTRACT:
A padding machine is provided for angularly variable attachment to a mobile ground carrier having a hopper into which soil is placed, a vibratory feeder and screen receiving soil from the hopper, a chute receiving screened soil from the vibratory screen and feeder to deliver the same as padding on a pipeline within a ditch and a power source driving he vibratory feeder and screen.
