A packaging shrink film consisting essentially of a random copolymer of propylene and an .alpha.-olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms or a random copolymer of propylene, an .alpha.-olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms and ethylene, said random copolymer satisfying the following conditions:
