ABSTRACT:
A package12comprises a top panel14and a bottom panel18, which are partially or totally laminated with tear resistance material for enhancing the structural integrity of the package12. Severance lines form at least one front panel30and at least one back panel44. The front panel30includes a tear notch42aand at least one aperture32. The back panel44includes a severance line54. In one embodiment the panels14, 18, 30, 44are folded and attached, to form at least one trap door58, and encapsulating at least one blister34holding an item. The trap door58is releasably attached within the top panel14and bottom panel18. To gain access to a blister34, a trap door58is at least partially detached along the severance lines36, 48, and pushed out to access the tear notch46. A portion of the trap door58is torn, at tear notch46and along the severance line54, to access the item.
