ABSTRACT:
A solid state thyristor bridge inverter power supply for an ozonator in which the width and the amplitude of the ozonator current can be controlled and the ozonator voltage can be selectively reset. The power supply circuit includes a diode bridge rectifier for converting a commercial AC power main into a direct current power source which is coupled to a current source DC/AC inverter through a inductor and a current detecting circuit. A current amplitude control circuit controls the output current of the DC power source by comparing the output of the detecting circuit with a reference set point. Logic circuits are provided for controlling the frequency and the width of current pulses applied to the ozonator.
