ABSTRACT:
An oxygen concentrating apparatus10for generating oxygen enriched gas by adsorbing and separating nitrogen gas from air, comprises; an oxygen concentrator40having an adsorption cylinder filled with adsorbent for adsorbing nitrogen gas, also having an air inlet port44, an oxygen outlet port50and a nitrogen gas outlet port46; a compressor30for supplying compressed air from the air inlet port44; a sound insulation box20, which surrounds the compressor30, for reducing noise generated from the compressor30, ribs20abeing formed on a side wall of the sound insulation box20; a cooling fan36for introducing air into the sound insulation box20so as to cool the compressor30by the introduced air; a housing12surrounding the oxygen concentrator40and the sound insulation box20; and an exhaust duct60arranged in the housing12, for guiding the exhaust discharged from the cooling fan36to the outside of the housing12.
