ABSTRACT:
In an Oxo process wherein an olefin, CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2 are reacted in the presence of a cobalt salt as catalyst, higher activity and longer useful life of the catalyst are achieved by complexing the catalyst with triphenyl phosphine.
