ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a dye-donor element for use according to thermal dye sublimation transfer, said dye-donor element comprising a support provided with a dye layer containing a dye and a polymeric binder, characterized in that said dye corresponds to the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.12 are as set out in the claims and the description.
