ABSTRACT:
An overhead concealed door closer, hydraulicly operated, within a narrow housing case which fits within a header. The housing case has a step radius design along one side and the aperture for the pinion is off-center toward the step radius design side. Hydraulics within the housing case provide a back check, delayed closing, controlled closing, and latch closing. A rack slide is provided with a broadpoint slot so that a broadpoint extending from a pinion can slide through the broadpoint slot and into the broadpoint slot housing well of the housing case.
