ABSTRACT:
The powered oscillated hand tool is provided having a housing and a drive unit contained in the housing having a first drive shaft7and a bearing15mounted eccentrically relative to the first drive shaft7. A second drive shaft14extends from the bearing15and mountable thereon is a mounting platen90which is secured by means of one or more flexible legs80to the housing. The mounting platen90has coupling means95which are securable with corresponding coupling means on a first sanding platen20which is secured against free rotation about the second drive shaft when mounted thereon.
