The posterior segment20of the orthodontic archwire of the present invention has the connector30provided in advance on the free end23of a loop22formed by bending one end of the segment. The archwire1where the main wire portion10of the anterior segment10is connected to the main wire portion21of the posterior segment20on the same axial center can be obtained by inserting and securing the connection end12formed by bending each opposite end of the said anterior segment10into the said connector30.
