ABSTRACT:
An antifouling coating composition includes an antifouling compound formed f the esterification product of tributyltin oxide combined with the copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride. The antifouling compound is combined with a blend of selected Bisphenol A epoxy and polyacrylate resins, solvent, fillers, pigment, and amine based curing agent to provide a durable marine coating which exhibits controlled leaching of antifoulant.
