ABSTRACT:
C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 hydroxyalkyl ethylcellulose ethers are substantially soluble in toluene, and toluene and heptane mixtures. Such organo-soluble cellulose ethers are useful in thickening organic solvent systems comprised of toluene.
