ABSTRACT:
An organosilicon compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. The organosilicon compound is used as en effective electron donor ingredient of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst for olefin polymerization.
