ABSTRACT:
An organometallic complex. The organometallic complex has formula (I), wherein M is a transition metal with an atomic number greater than 40 comprising Ir, Os, Pt, Pd, Re, or Ru,is a substituted or non-substituted heterocyclic ring containing at least one nitrogen atom, andis any bidentate ligand comprising bipyridyl groups. The invention also provides an organic light-emitting diode and a display including the organometallic complex.
