ABSTRACT:
An organic silver salt dispersion containing: light-insensitive organic silver salt grains; photosensitive silver halide grains; a solvent; and a binder for dispersion, wherein the organic silver salt is prepared by using: (i) an alkaline metal salt of an organic acid other than a sodium salt; and (ii) a water soluble silver compound, and the binder is a polyvinyl acetal resin having a polymerization degree of 250 to 1000 and prepared by acetal forming reaction of a polyvinylalcohol with an aldehyde.
