A compound represented by the formula (1): ##STR1## wherein Ar.sub.1 l represents an arylene group; Ar.sub.2 and Ar.sub.3 independently represent an aryl group or an arylene group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be identical or not, independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a carbon number of 4 or less, or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 both represent --SiR.sub.4 R.sub.5 R.sub.6 (R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6, which may be identical or not, independently represent an alkyl group, aralkyl group or aryl group which may be substituted);
