Methods and compositions are provided to treat enteric disease. The methods and compositions use passive immunity to treat diseases of the gut, including diseases caused bySalmonellasp.,E. Coli, Clostridium difficile, Clostridium perfringensA,Clostridium perfringensC,Clostridium perfringensD, canine distemper, feline distemper, Rotavirus, and Parvovirus. Specific antibodies are administered orally to a subject to improve intestinal health.
