ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a tripepride having the amino acid sequence Alanine-lsoleucine-Phenylalanine. This invention also relates to methods and compositions for inhibiting growth of dental plaque on tissues within an oral cavity of a human or other animal comprising topical administration, to tissues of such oral cavity, of a composition comprising a safe and effective amount of the tripepride.
