ABSTRACT:
The invention discloses optionally substituted 3-methylsulfinyl indazoles having pharmacological activity in animals and useful as sleep-inducing agents. The compounds may be prepared by diazotization of an optionally substituted .alpha.-methylsulfinyl-o-toluidine.
