ABSTRACT:
The present invention is an optically active organic acidate-bridged dinuclear platinum(II) complex represented by the general formula (I):or the general formula (I′):(wherein R1and R2are the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or form an alkylene group by binding to each other at the ends thereof;R3and R4are the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or form an alkylene group by binding to each other at the ends thereof;A represents a single bond or a methylene group; andX−represents an anion).The complex of the present invention has an excellent anticancer activity, and is useful as medicine, especially an anticancer agent.
