The invention relates to an optically active isosorbide derivative represented by general formula (I) and an optically active isomannide derivative represented by general formula (V),wherein R1and R9each independently represent an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group or —NR17R18, wherein R17and R18each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R2and R10each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R3to R6and R11to R14each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; R7, R15, R8and R16each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and R2and R4, and R10and R12may in each combination be combined with each other to form a 5- or 6-membered ring.
