ABSTRACT:
An optical transmitter-receiver module has a light-emitting element for emitting transmission signal light and a light-receiving element for receiving reception signal light, and performs both transmission of the transmission signal light and reception of the reception signal light by means of a single-core optical fiber. A light-emitting device91having the light-emitting element is covered with an upper shield plate93and a lower shield plate94each provided by a conductive metal plate while being held between the plates. Connection terminals95and96of the upper shield plate93and the lower shield plate94, which are extended in a direction in which lead terminals99of the light-emitting device91are extended, are connected to grounding terminals included in the lead terminals99.
