An optical information recording/reproducing device is provided with a first light source20afor emitting recording light22a, a second light source20bfor emitting reproducing light22b, an objective lens6for focusing the emitted lights from the both light sources20a, 20bon an information recording medium including a recording region3capable of three-dimensional recording and photodetectors19a, 19bfor detecting reflected lights7a′, 7b′ from the information recording medium, and records information on recording layers1ato1eutilizing a nonlinear absorption phenomenon. At the objective lens6, an average rim intensity of the recording light7ais lower than that of the reproducing light7b.
