ABSTRACT:
An optical information recording medium improved in storage stability and thermal stability, having a base and a recording layer, the recording layer containing a spiropyran compound and at least one carboxylic acid metallic complex expressed by general formulae I! and II!: ##STR1## where M represents a metallic element and each of R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 represents an alkylene group, an alkylidene group, an aromatic ring, an aliphatic ring, or a heterocyclic ring.
