ABSTRACT:
The invention provides an optical glass which comprises, in terms of % by mass on the basis of oxides, 35-45% of SiO2, 12-20% of B2O3, 2-7% of Li2O, 0.1-10% of ZnO, 2-15% of Al2O3, 10-40% of BaO, 0-5% of K2O, 0-10% of Na2O, and 0-20% of Gd2O3, wherein SiO2+B2O3is 47-58% and Li2O+Na2O+K2O is 5-14%.
