ABSTRACT:
A filtering element for a beam of coherent light, comprising a diffraction grating placed in the path of the beam and disposed with respect to the direction of the beam in such manner that the angle of incidence of the beam is at least equal to 80.degree. and different from the angle of diffraction. At least one additional optical element is placed in the path of a component of the beam diffracted by said grating for returning to the grating a part of the light of said component.
