ABSTRACT:
Optical fibers301-308are housed in V-grooves formed on a V-block20with end faces311-318flush with an end face22of the V-block20. Therefore, when the optical fibers301-308are connected to optical waveguides, the V-block20suppresses the oscillation of the end faces311-318of the optical fibers301-308. This structure increases the alignment precision and increases the intensity of the optical fibers301-308.
