ABSTRACT:
PCM data with time information is read out by an ATAPI controller4. PCM data with time information is read out from the ATAPI controller4into an AV decoder11while ascertaining coincidence between the amount of transmitted data and that of received data. The time information is output in synchronization with the PCM data. Therefore, PCM data and time information can be easily synchronized with each other, and a dedicated line for PCM data can be omitted.
