ABSTRACT:
An optical disk with clock pits formed on tracks at predetermined intervals extending in a radial direction of the optical disk. Servo pits are arranged wobbly with respect to the tracks and auxiliary cock pits are arranged in such a manner that at least one auxiliary pit is provided in a non track region between two clock pits adjacent in the radial direction of the optical disk. A plurality of auxiliary clock pits may overlap one another to form an auxiliary clock groove.
